Wuhan, capital city of Hubei province, consists of 13 districts and 3 development zones on the national level. It has a population of 8.31 million and covers 8647 square kilometers. Wuhan Port, the biggest inland port in China, has sea routes to 14 countries and regions such as Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Macao. Wuhan, whose telecommunications are an important hinge where Beijing-Wuhan-Guangzhoug coaxial cables and Shanghai-Nanjing-Wuhan-Chongqing optical fiber communication meet in Wuhan is also the center of post communication to the seven Middle-South provinces.

Secondly, it has market advantage. Wuhan, the biggest circulation center and the biggest location of collecting and distributing cargo, can radiate neighboring provinces, Hunan, Jiangxi, Anhui, Henan and Sichuan, with a total population up to 400 million. Various commodities have prospective market in Wuhan. The financial market of Wuhan, one of the nine biggest financial markets and the biggest national debt transaction center in China, is being flourished. The financial transaction market in Wuhan is playing an important role in national financial market of transaction. Goods and materials market of Wuhan is the biggest trade center in China.

Thirdly, it has industrial advantage. Wuhan is an important industrial base in China. It has a well-established industrial foundation and highly developed electro-mechanical industry. Especially, it has a complete series of industry sectors and facilitating services. Almost all kinds of investment programs can find their counterparts or relevant partners. Great opportunities will be offered to domestic or overseas electro-mechanical merchants with the development of 「Optic Valley of China (Wuhan)」, the construction of Three-Gorges Project and West Region Development.
